What to do to get a place at Fledglings

Registration forms are available from a member of staff or can be downloaded from our website below. Please complete the form and return it to Fledglings, along with a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport.

Please note that a place may not be available immediately, depending on current availability. Our policy is to offer children a place in the year before they are due to start school, although places may become available earlier if vacancies arise.

Once your registration form has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation letter outlining your allocated sessions and details of play visits. These visits usually last one to two hours and are followed by a home visit from your child’s key person, helping to support a smooth transition into nursery.

Fledglings has two dedicated areas: Swifts, for 2-year-old children, and Swallows, for children aged 3 years and over. Both areas have their own bathrooms and nappy-changing facilities, coat pegs, and a dedicated team of staff.
